Honour killing case: SC cuts death to life term

The Supreme Court of India sentenced a man to 20 years in prison for strangling his nine-month pregnant daughter in 2013 for marrying a lower caste individual. His death sentence was reduced, considering his good conduct in jail. The conviction was supported by his wifes testimony about his anger over the inter-caste marriage.
