Rwanda: Marburg Virus Came From Animal to Human, Genomic Sequencing Indicates

[New Times] Initial findings of genomic analysis indicates that the Marburg virus, which caused an outbreak in Rwanda, has a single zoonotic origin, meaning it jumped from an animal to a human only once and had not passed through multiple hosts, according to health authorities.
