Sniper Elite: Resistance has you join the French Resistance and put a stop to the Nazis on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Harry Hawker returns to the Sniper Elite franchise, but this time as the playable main character. Harry has discovered that the Nazis are creating a powerful weapon that could change the tides of war, and it’s your job to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Sniper Elite: Resistance will have two release dates — one for early access on Tuesday, Jan. 28, followed by the full launch on Thursday, Jan. 30.

How to play Sniper Elite: Resistance in early access
To play Sniper Elite: Resistance in early access, you need to purchase the Deluxe Edition.
Doing so, will allow you to play on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 9 a.m. EST, according to its Steam and Xbox pages.
In addition to the standard edition content, you’ll unlock the M1911 Pistol and the Season Pass, which will include extra content that launches later in the year.
What time does Sniper Elite: Resistance release?
Sniper Elite: Resistance will release on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 9 a.m EST, according to its Xbox store page.
Here’s when that is in your time zone:
- 6 a.m. PST for the west coast of North America
- 9 a.m. EST for the east coast of North America
- 2 p.m. GMT for the U.K.
- 3 p.m. CET for west mainland Europe
- 11 p.m. JST for Japan
- 1 a.m. on Fri. Jan. 31 for the east coast of Australia
The above times apply to the Steam version of Sniper Elite: Resistance, but it is safe to assume that it’ll release around the same time on all platforms.
Is Sniper Elite: Resistance on Game Pass?
Sniper Elite: Resistance will be playable through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but only through the standard edition on Thursday, Jan. 30.
If you wish to play the early access, you must purchase the Deluxe edition at its full price point.
Make sure to check which version of Game Pass you own, as Sniper Elite: Resistance will not be available for Standard and Core subscribers.
