Ellie Smith says the reason she decided to try to unseat opposition leader Peter Dutton in his Brisbane electorate is simple.
“For me it was just about having a local MP who reflects our community,” she says. “It just kind of didn’t make sense to me that we had an MP that was so divisive”.
