Honkai: Star Rail’s 3.0 patch is coming soon, bringing new characters and story with it. This update is a big one, as the gang travels to a new planet: Amphoreus. There’s a lot of content in this patch, including new puzzles to explore, a new path to follow, and tons of quality-of-life improvements.
Below, we explain when Honkai: Star Rail maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 3.0. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Honkai: Star Rail patch 3.0.
What time does Honkai: Star Rail go down for maintenance?
Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Jan. 14, or Wednesday, Jan. 15 (depending on your time zone), at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. PST for the west coast of North America
- Jan. 14 at 5 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
- Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. GMT for the U.K.
- Jan. 14 at 11 p.m. CET for western Europe/Paris
- Jan. 15 at 7 a.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
- Jan. 15 at 9 a.m. AEDT for Australia/Sydney
Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you wanted to, though remember that the new battle pass will start after the game returns from maintenance, so you may want to hold off on doing some of your weeklies until then.
What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 3.0 start?
Honkai: Star Rail should come back from maintenance with the 3.0 version at the following times:
- Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. PST for the west coast of North America
- Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
- Jan. 15 at 3 a.m. GMT for the U.K.
- Jan. 15 at 4 a.m. CET for western Europe/Paris
- Jan. 15 at 12 p.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
- Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. AEDT for Australia/Sydney
The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 3.0 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!
What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 3.0?
This update brings us to a new world, Amphoreus, filled with some familiar-looking faces, if you’re into the Honkai franchise as a whole. This patch specifically will include the launch of Lightning Remembrance character, Aglaea, and the Erudition Ice character, The Herta. The Trailblazer will also be able to study the path of Remembrance, giving them another new form to use in combat. There’ll be a lot to explore and tons of new characters to pull, so time to stock up on Stellar Jade while you can.
New paths to follow also means new relics to equip, new light cones to unlock, and just a plethora of other things to do to eat up your fuel.
