Flooding closes main roads as cold air forecast to return from Monday – and possibility of more snow later in week
Weather warnings remain in force across much of the UK on Monday as snow showers, ice and rain cause travel disruption.
Large airports, including Manchester, temporarily closed their runways due to heavy snow, while stranded vehicles and collisions blocked main roads across northern England.
