Chris Minns says potential Icac referral over Rosehill racecourse ‘disgraceful’ and based on ‘rumours’

Coalition-chaired committee examining plan to develop racecourse into huge housing estate in Sydney’s west

The NSW premier, Chris Minns, says a reported vote to refer him to the state’s corruption watchdog Icac is a “disgraceful” attempt to “politicise Icac with unsubstantiated rumours”.

A state parliament inquiry into the push to sell the Australian Turf Club’s Rosehill racecourse in Sydney’s west and turn it into tens of thousands of homes is due to deliver its report on Friday.
