This Double Layer Extension helps prevent pressure sores and ulcers by creating a low-risk supportive surface in the users heel zone.

Double Layer Extension is ideal for users who are at-risk for pressure sores and ulcers, especially in the high-risk heel zone. This two-layer, 200 mm foam mattress extension provides ankles and feet with much needed relief, especially for the mobility-impaired and high-risk patients such as those with diabetes. It can be used with any 150 mm high foam mattress. It’s ideal for use in hospital setting, assisted living communities, residential care and home health care. Surface is made of one later of high density memory foam, with a medium density base.
