Switch 2 accessories are already popping up online

Just a day after the Switch 2 reveal, video game publisher and peripheral manufacturer Nacon is showing off its first batch of accessories for the upcoming Nintendo console.

Nacon’s website in the United Kingdom was recently updated with a special Switch 2 page showcasing the bits and bobs the company will be making available at launch. While some, like the carrying cases and screen protectors, are pretty yawn-inducing, Nacon is also readying two different steering wheels for playing the as-of-yet untitled Mario Kart game revealed alongside the console on Jan. 16.

The first is a set of two wheels for €9.90 (roughly $10 USD), while the second is a more immersive, foldable accessory that emulates traditional racing setups for €29.90 (or about $30 USD). Neither is a legitimate racing wheel controller, as they simply amount to plastic forms that hold the Switch 2’s wireless Joy-Cons, but could be useful for Mario Kart fanatics in the market for larger grips as they drive that weird-looking Donkey Kong around with motion controls.

And that’s it! No additional leaks here, unfortunately, but this is at least a good opportunity to get some trivial purchases out of the way before your new Switch 2 arrives.
